Welcome!

Welcome to Blue Moon Acres Golden Retrievers, where our dogs are family!

We're excited you're here!

We understand that adding a puppy to your family is a big commitment.  We want your dog to fit into your family and live a long, healthy life.  It is our priority to ethically breed for health, temperament and intelligence.  Each of our parent dogs is health tested through OFA and Embark DNA to avoid known health risks.

Our puppies are raised in our home, under our loving care, from the day they are born to the day they go home with you.  Here, they get to experience daily life as well as children, other dogs, cats, etc.  At Blue Moon Acres Golden Retrievers, puppies are never left alone in a barn or other out-building.  Additionally, we put our puppies through a comprehensive curriculum so they are empowered and well adjusted when they transition to their forever home.

TESTIMONIALS

Greg & Patti G, WA

"We have been so impressed with Blue Moon Acres Golden Retrievers! Their communication and transparent information from the get-go has been so helpful! The emails are so personal, informative and well written! It made us feel confident that the entire litter was being properly cared for. And the videos and pictures in the weekly emails helped us connect and choose our top two pups prior to meeting them in person. The aptitude tests we super specific, which made the summaries of them that much more helpful. And the videos were great! Brenda was open and available to promptly respond to a myriad of questions. On top of all that, the litter was healthy and happy and well adjusted! Our chosen pup, Roo, has been an absolute delight. She doesn’t startle easily, is both personable and independent and is playful and cuddly. We couldn’t give a higher recommendation for this family-owned breeder. We will stay in touch and enjoy celebrating the journeys of these pups for sure!🐾"

"I recently got my golden retriever puppy from Blue Moon Acres and I could not have been happier with the experience. The breeder, Brenda, was incredibly communicative. When speaking to her on the phone she asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for in my puppy to make sure I found the right match. She sent regular updates, at least once a week, on all the puppies and included incredibly useful information on preparing to welcome my new friend home. She also included a lot of videos and pictures of the puppies, and it was so great getting to watch them grow up. The puppies are very well cared for; the health and well-being of the puppies is first and foremost. I especially love that they are raised inside with the family, I think that’s why they have such great temperaments! Brenda puts a lot of effort into making sure that the puppy is a good match for their forever home and sent very detailed temperament testing on each pup; this is a passion and not just a business. I am beyond impressed with Blue Moon Acres. I plan on getting my little guy a sibling in a few years and I don’t think I could ever go with any other breeder; Brenda and Blue Moon Acres has set the bar too high!"
